Dr. Daya Shankar is a leading figure in integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) with healthcare technologies, particularly in medical imaging. As Dean of the School of Sciences at Woxsen University, he spearheads research and education that are revolutionizing healthcare diagnostics and pharmaceutical research. With a background in Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics, Dr. Shankar shifted focus to AI in healthcare, becoming a prominent voice in AI-driven medical imaging. He co-chairs the Centre of Excellence for Technology and Public Policy and leads initiatives to integrate AI into healthcare education and policies as the Convenor of the Institute Innovation Council for the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
