Conference Information

Welcome to the annual flagship convention, our Global Pharma & Drug Delivery Summit (Pharma Summit 2024). The conference will be held during May 15 – 16, 2024 and is hosted in Radisson Blu Hotel, Barcelona Sagrada Familia, C/ de Còrsega, 482, 08025, Barcelona, Spain.

Whilst choosing our venue we kept in mind availability of the best possible facilities as well as ease of access. We hope our attendees will appreciate not only our selection of venue but the dates.

Official language

The official Language of the conference is English. Unfortunately, translation and interpreting services will not be available.

Dress Code

We encourage participants to dress comfortably in casual business attire. Meeting room temperatures may vary, so wear layered clothing to ensure personal comfort.

Weather

May is one of the best months of the year in terms of weather in Barcelona. You can see from the weather log written below, most of the time it will be sunny and warm in May. This will be a good time to walk around and explore Barcelona with good light and light warm breezes that are very pleasant. It's early in the season for sunbathing but you will find people at the beaches now. The beaches are a lot less crowded than peak season. You will need sun protection especially during the mid part of the day.

Invitation Letter

Invitation letters will be provided only after the reservation of conference registration, travel, accommodation and embassy appointment in your respective country. If you require a letter of invitation for your visa application, please submit a request for a letter of invitation.
At least one of the following criteria must be met in order to honour the request for a letter of invitation.

The requesting party must either:

  • Be an author of an accepted submission (oral presentation, poster presentation)
  • Have paid the registration fee, in full, for this conference.
  • Have booked the travel tickets, in full
  • Have reserved the accommodation, in advance during the event days

Please provide the following information in your request:

  • Your full name (Please specify family name and first name)
  • Organization
  • Full mailing address
  • Telephone and fax numbers

VISA Information

Eligible countries for visiting Spain without Visa

Since Spain is a member country of the Schengen zone, it applies the Schengen visa code to all short-stay travellers. It guarantees free movement to more than 400 million EU citizens, including non-EU nationals. Nationals of third States who travel to Spain for stays of up to 90 days (during any period of 180 days) for tourism, business, family visits, medical treatment, study, non-work internships or volunteer activities with a duration not exceeding 3 months, or for other non-gainful activities, must meet the entry conditions established in the Schengen Borders Code. ​​The required amount of money you need to present to the Spanish border officials is regulated by the Ministry of the Presidency of Spain (PRE/1282/2007) and is set at a minimum of EUR 100 per day, with a minimum of EUR 900 per person regardless of the intended duration of the stay.

All other country participants can apply for a visa at the Italian Embassy or consulate in the region in which they live. To avoid uncertainty, participants will be advised to apply for a visa as early as possible. It is recommended that they apply for Schengen visa at least 3 months in advance.

Please note staff members of Pharma Summit 2024 and the organizing committee of the conference are not authorized to assist with the VISA process beyond providing the notification of invitation letter issued by staff or conference committee board. Should your application be denied, meeting organizer and the organizing committee of the conference cannot change the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, nor will organizer and the organizing committee of the conference engage in discussion or correspondence with the Embassy on behalf of the applicant.
